Math Program for Young Minds

Program overview

CMT's Math Program for Young Minds is a 13-week long online program for mathematically talented middle school students in grades 7-8. The program provides a mathematically rich environment to middle school students interested in mathematics, and is designed to encourage them to explore mathematical topics outside the school curriculum. In this program, selected students are introduced to undergraduate level math topics while building problem solving skills and abstract reasoning. Students will have weekly meetings with a Courant faculty and a teaching assistant. All sessions will be hands-on, very active with lots of group work and problem solving activities. Academically strong applicants coming from underserved communities are encouraged to apply. This is a non credit college program.
