I am a 4th year PhD student at the Center for Data Science, New York University. I am interested in understanding how and why deep learning works. I am fortunate to be advised by Julia Kempe. During the 2023-2024 academic year, I visited the ML Foundations group at Harvard University, Nati Srebro's group at Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago, and the Center for Data Science at Ecole Normale Superieure. I am currently a Visiting Researcher at Meta AI, Fair. Prior to coming to NYC, I obtained my Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. My diploma thesis was about sparse representations in nonlinear spaces and I was fortunate to be advised by Petros Maragos.

Research interests: Foundations of Machine Learning, Robust Deep Learning
