Romain Lopez and Juan Carlos Perdomo Named 2026 AI2050 Fellows
NYU assistant professors Romain Lopez and Juan Carlos Perdomo have been named to Schmidt Sciences’ 2026 cohort of AI2050 Early Career Fellows. They join 28 researchers worldwide working on fundamental challenges and opportunities in AI. The cohort will receive up to $16 million over three years to advance research aimed at ensuring AI benefits society by 2050.
