Big Ideas in Artificial Intelligence

Provides a high-level overview of the key ideas and technologies that lead to revolutionary changes in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to the explosive growth in practical applications of AI.  Taught by a team of NYU's top experts in artificial intelligence lead by the Turing award winner Yann LeCun, the course will introduce students to a range of topics in fundamentals of AI and its key sub-areas including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision,  as well as its applications in several domains.

Prof. Yann LeCun’s Deep Learning Course

Reviews the latest techniques in deep learning and representation learning, focusing on supervised and unsupervised deep learning, embedding methods, metric learning, convolutional and recurrent nets, with applications to computer vision, natural language understanding, and speech recognition.

Thinking, Learning, and Consciousness in Humans and Machines

Presided over by NYU’s David Stasavage, a rotating cast of experts will tackle some of the biggest questions in AI today, including AI and decision-making, criminal justice, disability, race, consciousness, and more.
