CILVR SEMINAR: Structured Models of Music

The goal of the Magenta project is to empower creativity with machine learning. In this talk, I will go through some attempts to explore how employing interpretable hierarchical structure in music models can be both good for modeling (long-range dependencies, realistic outputs) and for people (low-latency interaction, interpretable control).
