NYU and its 17th president, Linda G. Mills, were honored to welcome President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea to campus to participate in the New York Digital Vision Forum.  He and other officials—including Korea’s Minister of Science Jong-Ho Lee, National Science Foundation (NSF) Director Sethuraman Panchanathan, NYU Board of Trustees Chair Evan Chesler, Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) President Kwang Hyung Lee, and NYC Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer—came to NYU to mark a major new initiative on AI research between NYU, the Republic of Korea, and KAIST.

NYU AI Faculty presenting included Prof. Yann LeCun, who gave a keynote address, and Prof. Kyunghyun Cho, who participated in a panel discussion.
