  • (June 5th 2018) A. Donev is awarded a three-year NSF grant CBET-1804940 on "Active Colloids under AC Electric Fields: From Single Particle Motion to Collective Dynamics" by the Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems of the National Science Foundation, a collaboration with the group of Ning Wu at Colorado School of Mines.
  • (April 26th 2018) Courant Ph.D. student Bill Bao successfully defended his thesis "Efficient and Accurate Numerical Methods for Fluid-Structure and Fluid-Particle Interactions" under the supervision of A. Donev and L. Greengard.
  • (May 2017) A. Donev, B. Delmotte and M. Driscoll are awarded a three-year NSF grant CBET-1706562 on "Magnetic microrollers as a platform for active transport" by the Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems program of the National Science Foundation.
  • (March 2017) A. Donev gets awarded the Simons Fellow in Mathematics and Physical Sciences from the Simons Foundation for Fall of 2017.
  • (February 2017) A group of Courant faculty lead by A. Donev as PI are awarded a five-year Research and Training Grant NSF RTG on "Mathematical Modeling and Simulation"  by the National Science Foundation (grant DMS-1646339).
