Anasse Bari Wins 2024 NYU Teach/Tech Award

Anasse Bari, Clinical Professor of Computer Science, has won the 2024 NYU Teach/Tech Award. Distributed by the College of Arts & Science, the Teach/Tech Award recognizes "a faculty member who has developed innovative technological solutions to enhance student learning." A recent addition to the university's awards lineup, Professor Bari becomes only the second member of faculty to receive this honor.
Professor Bari serves as Director of the AI and Predictive Analytics Lab at NYU, which aims solve problems in healthcare, finance, politics, and society. He has taken an active interest in undergraduate education and mentorship. Professor Bari was awarded the university's Golden Dozen Teaching Award in 2022. Just last month, he received the 2024 Arts and Science Teaching Innovation Award for his use of AI & Data Analytics in improving assessment strategies.
