The Simons Collaboration on Wave Turbulence has several open postdoctoral positions. This collaboration is a joint effort of several groups of leading researchers in mathematics and physics, in the US and the EU, for a  systematic coordinated study of wave turbulence in a large scale project. This is an opportunity for junior researchers to join and be part of this significant research effort. The research includes many areas in pure and applied math and theoretical and experimental physics.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Physics or Mathematics (pure or applied) with expertise in fields related to wave turbulence; must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and, to travel and present research results. The main duties include  working with the PIs on problems related to the research agenda of the collaboration;  participating in biannual meetings and summer schools.

There is also the possibility of some teaching.
