Alexander A. Sherstov,
known to his friends and colleagues as Sasha,
is an associate professor of computer science at the
University of California,
Los Angeles. Prior to joining UCLA, Sasha
obtained his Ph.D. at the
University of Texas at Austin
under the direction of Adam Klivans
and spent two years as a postdoctoral scholar at
Microsoft Research.
He has broad research interests in
theoretical computer science, including computational
complexity theory, computational learning theory, and
quantum computing.
