The position will be based at the Courant Institute, New York University, and it will last for 2 years with a starting date in fall 2026. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Nina Holden on problems of interest to the Simons Collaboration on Probabilistic Paths to Quantum Field Theory. No teaching is required in the position.

Interested candidates are strongly encouraged to also apply for a Courant Instructorship (deadline December 1), which might give a third year of funding (with teaching) and access to faculty housing.
