This is a simple example of using Hermite splines to create a bird-like animation.
The left half of the canvas is simply a mirror image of the right side, using a matrix scale transformation of (-1, 1, 1), or reflection about the Y axis.
The left (midpoint) height is fixed at 0, and the right endpoint is modulated by a sine function.
The left slope is also fixed at 0, and the right slope is modulated by a cosine function.
