Courant Lecture with Michel Talagrand

We are pleased to announce that Michel Talagrand, the French probabilist and recent winner of the Abel Prize, will deliver the 2024 Courant Lecture "Chaining: A Long Story" on May 9th. Professor Talagrand will discuss his generic chaining method, which is widely used in machine learning, data mining, finance and economics, as well as in genomics and drug discovery.
