Everyone who is visiting this page can collaborate to create the changing pattern on the left.

Unlike the previous version, patterns in this one will create things that move. We're still not at the point where we want to be, but we're getting closer -- this is now starting to look like a machine to create a kind of shared living world.

That world is still lacking things like color, music, and various fun inhabitants -- which will all be revealed in their time.

Instructions:

• Drag the mouse to draw a line.

• Click to make a source (black dot).

• Click twice to make a junction (white dot)^**.

• Hold down the DELETE key and move mouse to erase.

** At a junction, go in the left-most possible direction.
